Year Total when using QTD measure in YTD application

HI Gurus

I have one YTD storage type application where I have data output displayed properly using YTD and PERIODIC measures but when I use QTD measure, in the year total (20xx.TOTAL), I am seeing zero values. In the periodic storage type application, i am seeing proper values which is same as the value in last quarter of that year.

I have tested this in my environmentshell and this behavior is same there as well.

Is it the right behavior or am I missing something here.
