Calling a new property in the business rules

Hi All,

I would like to use a property that I have created in my account dimension for inter company elimination with entities that are proportionally consolidated.

The regular inter company elimination makes use of the TYPELIM and ELIMACC properties where the ELIMACC values are the clearing / plug accounts.

Based on the starter kit: I would like to use a similar type property as the ELIMACC and call it with using PROP(ELIMACC). My client is using designated internal accounts and when an elimination takes place between a 100% owned subsidiary and a 40% proportional consolidated Joint Venture the business rules use the multiplier MIN(PCON,I_PCON) and that means that in my 100% owned entity only the 40% of my inter company transaction gets eliminated. I would like to post the other 60% of the transaction to the equivalent external account in that same entity so that the internal account does not have a "mis match".

(there is no other way to input differently as we get the data from ECC-FI on the internal account)

My only issue is that I can not seem to call the newly created property in my business rules. where I am calling the newly created multiplier PCON,I_PCON = (60%)

I would like to use a statement like PROP(ELIMACC_PROPCON)

I could hardcode all of the account but we have 168 internal accounts so that is a bit much and I'm afraid.

Please let me know if you need any further clarification
