Hi Gurus,
We are using clear package to clear data from BPC model and while running the clear package we are getting the value for all dimensions as <all> in the prompt screen.
We want to avoid this as some users are missing this and are running the package and deleting the values which they do not intend to delete. Is it possible to change the vale to blank or any value like <none>.

Hi everyone,
An ABAP short dump is triggered every time we try to edit/modify then save an existing Control with a CONVT_NO_NUMBER exception. No problems when Validating but only when trying to Save the Control. It happens to all the existing Controls even if its only a change in the description.
The Entity in question CO_2095 is not special in regards to master data from all the other entities. Has anyone come across this issue before?

I notice that in the analysis for office, the balance sheet workbook only displays the GL accounts with transaction data, all the other accounts are suppressed, in classic BPC we can get this done easily, how can we achieve the same in Analysis for office?
I tried to use the "always display" under result row of query designer to achieve this, but it not working.

I am using SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1, version for SAP NetWeaver and it should have two configuration variations called standard and embedded.
But I am not able to create a 'standard' environment as I am not given that option. (Kindly see the attached screen shot for the reference)
Any idea about what would be the issue ? Your guidance is much appreciated.

Hoping someone could assist me on this.
System Details - SAP BPC 7.5 NW
We are facing a specific number format issue at one of our clients while trying to export data out of the system.
Following are the details –
While exporting data out of any BPC model using the standard SAP BPC export functionality the numbers which are –ve in the database are exported out with a “-“ sign after the numbers rather at the start.
i.e. -1000 in the DB is exported out as 1000- instead of -1000
We are expecting it to be the later i.e. -1000
Has anyone experienced this before.

I have the following installed. Can anyone please guide me if I need a newer SP level or if this is enough to launch Consolidation on this
When I go to RSA1, I can see Environment shell etc. without Consolidation model (It has only Planning and Rates as default) Is it because it needs higher SP to have Cons model as default in Envi shell ?

Hi All,
I am looking for macro that can be used for opening a report editor. EPM tab has been disabled for users so I need to create a different option in custom ribbon. The OpenReportEditor opens the editor to create a new report option whereas I want the editor to open the existing report in edit mode.
Below is the code I used to open the editor using macro.

I am asking a question which i never faced, till now i am getting the TDD to create dimensions, models , BPF, Work status etc.
Now i want to understand that at what basis architect were choosing that which planning is best for which kind of requirement.
In my 2 projects it always only finance model and HR models are there and every thing is generated with the help of these 2 models so my question is
1- At what basis architect were choosing that which planning is best for which kind of requirement.
2-what is the criteria to choose CAPEX, OPEX, Headcount Planning, Driver Based Planning, Revenue Planning ?
3-What will be dimensions and model normally we will choose of CAPEX, OPEX, Headcount Planning, Driver Based Planning, Revenue Planning ?
Any document or help is there to understand the theory, Please note i am having only basic knowledge of finance.

I write a local member formula for total, but I want to exclude this formula for last 4 accounts, because those accounts retrieving data for YTD ,so i want to exclude , Is this possible?
Acoounts are dynamic , and columns are fixed.

We're experiencing a "RUN_LOGIC:An exception was raised" error when running the Currency Conversion Business rule on a Consolidation Model. But it runs on a different model e.g. Financial Model, Standard Model on the same Environment. We've set up all the required properties for currency conversion and inputted the rates. This is the first time we've encountered this error and we have successfully configured Currency conversion on previous projects.

Today has been more of a learning experience when it came to working in BPC, for the first time.
I had a series of doubts and rather than posting it one by one, I thought I will bring them all together into one single discussion.
(1) Is it possible to have a Variable Screen / User Prompt for a BPC report.
(1.1) If yes, How do I maintain the Variables for the Variable Screen
(1.2) Where do I maintain them
(2) I have a report that has been setup with Forecast values, and this report is run at the end of every month

Kindly provide guidance how to come around this output, I understand for the month end - we need to run the load, but how is it that we can overwrite the Column value Forecast Month1 - Actual Month1, based on the output from the data load; Basically the data in the columns should be overwritten, it could be a Bonus if possible you could tell me how to overwrite Header values as well.
(3) I would like to publish the BPC reports; can we publish BPC excel reports? How can I publish BPC reports?

I'm checking a new BPC 10.1 (NW 7.5) installation and when I try to download the EPM add-in, it downloads 'EPM Office Add-in Excel.sapaox', but I can´t run this kind of file. Is it necessary to set up something additional?

While testing, I have created many process instances for my BPF. I however want to delete these as these were just for testing.
In BPC embedded, I do not see the "archive" function for process instance (BW 7.5SP2). I can put them to status "suspend" or to status "finalized", but then my test instances will always be in there, which I don't want.
Does anybody know how I can clear my process instances (not my template) ?

I have this package link with 2 tasks.
The first prompts the user for a source and destination version:
The second package runs logic in another application, it also prompts the user for a version:
As you can see from my label text, the Version in the second prompt MUST be the same as the Destination from the first prompt.
Is it possible to pass the selection from the first prompt to the second package? The existing arrangement is confusing to users, and allows the user to make an error by selecting a different version.

I've created a Data Management Package, and I modify the script to enable Debug mode (see print screen).
However, after executing the DMP, I checked the log, it looks the same as the one which the Debug mode is off... Does anyone knows where to check the debug script?

We are working on a brand new BPC 10.1 Embedded environment. And in DataWarehousing workbench, I have ADSOs (of type Planning) and Real Time InfoCubes. I even created Aggregates on both ADSOs and Real Time InfoCubes. However, when I was trying to create a Model in BPC Web Admin client, I do not see ADSOs as an option. All I can see is Real Time InfoCubes as an option to select as BPC Model. I am just curious to know whether there are any additional settings to be done so that I can see ADSO also as an option.

We have upgraded the BPC Add-on in our BW DEV server from 7.5 (CPMBPC 754 SP03) to 10.0 (CPMBPC 801 SP14)
Note: The BPC Web server is installed on a separate box and the BPC Add-ons are installed in BW Server.
The UJT_MIGRATE_75_TO_10 report ran successfully for the BPC Appset that we are using
Could you please help us in getting this issue resolved.
Also I heard that from BPC 10.0 onwards the web server is integrated into the BPC Add-ons. So can we remove the existing BPC webserver of DEV Sever as it is upgraded to 10.0.?
Also we are not able to login into the BPC Web admin client from IE11 browser or chrome
Followed the SAP Note 1648581 - Blank Screen in web client after upgrade to new SP
But still no luck. Please help us in getting the BPC 10.0 working.
