Cannot see descriptions in sap bw and bpc
Hi Experts,
The iisue that I´m having is that another person start configuring SAP BPC in English language, but it needs to be in Spanish. So I'm seeing the descriptions of the dimension members only when I access in English, I need to see them accesing in Spanish language that is language that will be used by the client .
When I access BW in Spanish, I see the environment and dimension by its technical name, so I have to access SAP BW in English so I can see the description name.

BPF - all instances always open
Hello experts,
I'm trying to set up a BPF with several activities, what is actually not a problem at all.
My activities within the BPF-template open different reports and are independent from each other. The problem is that I want the activities to be always open, I don't want to define an opening criteria. Is there any possibility to do this? The result should be a kind of a link list to execute several reports.

Description not shown after import via Data Manager to BPC from flat file
Hi experts,
I cannot see the description of a dimension when loading it from a flat file. The language that the users will use is Spanish. So, my transformation file is:
I run the data manager package for importing descriptions from flat file and the result is success.
But when I see in the member dimension , the description is not there.
When I access BPC Web in english the description is there
Is important to say that the first consultant made the creation of the dimension in English, but this was wrong because the user uses Spanish.
Equity Pickup - Entities with POWN under 20% not showing up
Hello experts,
I'm implementing Equity Pickup standard functionality. I've setup participation percentages through an input schedule, saved them into POWN account and configured the equity pickup rule.
When I go to the EPU monitor and select any entity, I can see the corresponding relationships available to process if the ownership percentage is ABOVE 20%. We've many entities that need to be calculated but the ownership percentage is under 20%.
Any suggestions?

So I have Daily production : loaded value and Calendar wich is an input value
rate of production = Cumulative value of production and / cumulative value of calendar.
so normaly the script should be executed after inputing value of calendar loading value of daily production ( DM , daily load )

normaly the cumulative value should be repated till the end of year .

When I execute The Default.LGF and then CUMIL.LGF I have correct result
in the loaded value but not the input value.
and when I write an input value the cumulative value of the loaded value is not correct .

BPC NW 10 - Built the reports with EPM Excel with a structure
Hello,
Like BPC embedded with query designer, I would like the create the new structure for the column.
We have two dimensions for the columns : Time + Account
The reports has dynamic formatting,
The values for each dimensions are different for time and account
See the example, the user selects only the fiscal year : 2016 (cell D3) and the columns must be calculated
For the dimension TIME, I used the function EPMdimensionoveride in order to select the serveral values : OK
For the column F and H , when I used the formula in field 'Data' in EPM formating sheet , its wrong
For the column F and H, when I used the local members, it's wrong too.
NB : If the values were fixed for one of the two dimensions, no problem...
NB : for the column I and J, I think that I will create the new report...
Can you help me in order to solve this problem

Description Column Missing from Account Dimension
Dear Expert,
I am using BPC 10.1 Classic version ,BW 7.4, I am facing some unwanted issue where in my account dimension, description column are not shown. It only happens in account dimension twice with me. When I am displaying the dimension in Hierarchy view it shown description but in list view it missed the description column. What is the reason behind this and how we resolved it.

BPC Plug-in
Hi,
we've installed the latest (2.3) Analysis for Office Add-On with EPM and we have the latest BW release with BPC 10.1 SP10. A new Feature is the the BPC Plug-in which is part of Excel. If we get it right, you can see open Tasks drectly in Excel without use Web UI. But the Buttons to use this new Feature are "greyed out (see attached Picture). Does anyone know how to run this? Do we have to set a Parameter in SPRO or something like that?
SAP BPC- BPF all intances must open
Dear All,
I have a requirement where business requested to keep open all the activities open in an instance in BPF. For example: In BPF, I have an instance, in which I have 4 activities. Business needs all this 4 activities should be always open. Currently, I am forced to change the status to 'complete' of an activity so the the next activity is enabled for further process. As usual step by step process is enabled.
Whereas I need to keep all the activities open simultaneously within an instance. Could you please help.

Can someone tell if it is possible to create what-if analysis, planning on 5 year periods, rolling forecasts with BPC optimized for S4HANA Finance (IBPf) pre delivered planning scenarios( & templates).
I have noticed some planning scenarios such as Sales planning, Cash forecasting etc are predelivered so is it possible to create these or any other planning scenarios in BPC optimized for S4HANA Finance 1511?

I create input-ready query
create model, based on corresponding cube in BPC web client
insert my query in Analysis workbook and... when I tried to set planning model - I got empty list both for environments and for models
With Netweaver 7.4 SP13 everything was OK...Now we have Netweaver 7.5 SP03. May be somebody faced with this problem?

I need to generate EPM reports using 'Worksheet generation' option. Under a parent entity group, there are nearly 750 entities; for which in a single workbook, I need to generate worksheets.
How many worksheets can a workbook hold or can get generated for?
Is there any BPC limitation for maximum number sheets per workbook?
Filters based on Transaction data
Hello Experts,
I have a requirement, where i have three template selections personal area, personal subarea and Organizational unit. Personal area and Personal subarea are connected. Selecting one personal area would give me related personal subareas. But the relation with personal subarea and organizational unit is Many to one.
For example
Case 1:
Personal Area: 9000 (Region)
Personal Subarea : 9009 (Location)
Organizational Unit: 50000222 (Department)
in the above case if client selects personal area 9000 and personal subarea 9009, i should get 50000222 ready for selection.
Case 2:
Personal Area: 5010 (Region2)
Personal Subarea :1001 (Location2)
Organizational Unit: 50000222 (Department - same as above).
in Case 2 also my personal area and personal sub area selections should get 50000222 ready for selection.
if i give properties of personal area and subarea in organizational unit dimension i will be able to maintain only one property value for one organization, which is not fulfilling the requirement.
At the moment my organizational unit dimension is as below

at trasaction data level (HR - employee headcount), i am getting multiple relations of these three parameters. Is it possible to get selections based on transaction data into template.

If transaction data based filters are not possible is there any workarround possible in this case?

Data access profiles showing incorrect no. of users assinged
HI Experts,
I added few users to a Data Access profile, and saved it, it is showing one ount extra when I see in the main screen where it shows the users count.
Ex:
If I add two users to a DAP XYZ, no teams assigned and saved. when I go back and see it is showing 3 under users column accross XYZ Dap.
We are using 10.1 standard

EPM Reporting Issue
Hi All,
I am in testing phase, i got the below reporting issue:
i have 15 accounts, 12 are read only, remaining 3(13,14,15) are write mode
Edit option Read Only tab in EPM Reporting but now user asked us to 12th one also make it read only.
But when i checked the Edit option Read Only tab surprisingly i am not able see 12 accounts.
